A retired nurse and grandmother has run 13.1 miles in her home during the coronavirus restrictions.
Rona Ricioppo completed 1,700 laps of her kitchen as part of the Local Landmarks Challenge.
She finished in two hours and 35 minutes.
Rona, who currently works in a pharmacy, raised £300 for Bolton Hospice and said she wanted to highlight the importance of staying home.
She admitted the unusual course caused some issues, including a fall close to the end of her efforts.
“I started well but suffered from dizziness halfway,” she told local press.
“I kept changing direction to try and help, but had a fall at 12 miles, so the last mile was a struggle.”
